Here are a few bits and pieces to demonstrate the story so far….

Let’s start with one of the numerous Demo recordings my band Twentyseven made for record companies at about the time of Napster. This one is called The Dirty Smell Of Rocket Fuel, made for RCA and produced by Steve Lovell who was a very credible producer who worked with people like Julien Cope and Ian MacCulloch etc… although he did have a gold disc hanging in his toilet for his biggest hit with Samantha Fox!!!

…and here’s what the live show looked like…

Then we were asked to play for Michael Kamen (Bryan Adams, Pink Floyd) and The Queen (yep, THE Queen) in Abbey Road so we could be broadcast on the BBC… (All expenses paid for filming in Cornwall!!!) which was nice…

After much hanging about and banging our heads against the wall I jumped ship to join the pirates that were Youth Of Britain (Y.O.B.) (with Daniele Davoli from Black Box - Ride On Time fame) and we went about our merry way playing raves and nightclubs at silly times in the morning. This brought us to the attention of The Prodigy who decided to put us on their UK tour. This is a flavour of us playing our song Madman in which Daniele runs about the stage in a strait jacket at the fabulous Brixton Academy…

…..Next it was the MTV Europe competition A-Cut which somehow we won and went back to Abbey Road to The Beatles studio to record with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers), then off to support Annastasia in Germany in front of 32,000 (all expenses paid again!!!)
